When it comes to soul music, it comes in many forms, shapes, sizes and colors. However, a lot of older music fans seem to have given up hope on finding quality soul music these days. Judging by the content of material that is exhibited on most urban radio and video stations today, I totally understand why. Thankfully, just when it seems that all hope is lost, an album comes along to rejuvenate the love for soul music. After listening to Deborah Jordan’s new album “The Light” recently, I can definitely say that this is one of those albums. When all is seems dark, there is light. The lead vocalist from United Kingdom’s own Silhouette Brown has released her first solo joint, and it sounds like a classic! The production alongside her sultry vocals is a match made in heaven like ice cream and cake. If you are not already familiar with Deborah Jordan, you definitely need to find out about her. You definitely need some Deborah J. in your life!
